A fascinating stadium in the middle of Ahmedabad which has a population of c 6.5million people. Some years ago Narendra Modi, then Chief Minister of Gujarat (now Prime Minister of India) asked Udit Sheth to ‘Bring football to India.’
For the next few years Udit Sheth travelled the world to investigate what features should he include within his new football stadium.
In 2012 he visited Paul Fletcher at Burnley Football club to discuss StadiArena and he went on to buy the first StadiArena licence within his multi-use venue. The new stadium opened in 2016 with the Kabbadi World within the StadiArena, which attracted 114,000,000 viewers.

2nd Floor: Pitch level – 14 executive boxes, 3 restaurants, 1 coffee shop, 3 tennis courts (1 rooftop), 6 badminton courts, 150 bedroom 4 star hotel, billiards hall, sports medicine centre, high performance centre, basketball court in StadiArena with 5,000 seat, Netball, 3,000 seater conference venue, 6,000 seater rock concert Arena, archery facility, 3 swimming pools (1 competition; 1 Infinity (on the roof) 1 children’s pool) plus much, much more!
On opening, the building did not have a resident football team!
